Streetwear brands Stüssy and Cactus Plant Flea Market have joined forces to bring us a new set of gear that’s perfect for the Americana aesthetic.

The collection was first teased by No Vacancy Inn’s Tremaine Evory on Instagram, and now we’ve got a full look at the summer-themed capsule.

This collab will be released at a special event for Dover Street Market Los Angeles. Attendees will be able to enjoy live music, seeing special guests and the capsule itself, as well as being able to access special one-off exclusive pieces.

The pieces are t-shirts, long sleeves, denim jeans, and shorts – most of which you’d sadly be unable to flex in this current weather. They each utilise the red, white, and blue American flag motif, accompanying CPFM’s signature smiley face logo, and Stussy’s Rasta flag graphic.

The standout piece is clearly the long sleeve that’s got ‘PROUD TO BE FREE’ and ‘PROUD TO BE ME’ printed on the front. You can rock them with Stussy’s upcycled vintage jeans, hand-painted with stars and stripes. Limited jeans and shorts will be exclusive to DSMLA only.

If you’re currently in LA right now, don’t miss out on this. However if you’re not, you can still get a chance to grab a piece for yourself when the collection drops online on Thursday July 4 at 10 am PST.

In other funky collab news, Tyler, the Creator seems to be venturing into the food market, and has teamed up with an ice cream brand to create his own flavour.
