Off the back of unveiling his SS19 lookbook for GOLF le FLEUR, Tyler The Creator has now taken to social media to announce that he has his very own ice cream collaboration on the way.

The ice cream is in collaboration with Tyler’s GOLF le FLEUR and American Ice Cream brand Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, on the flavour dubbed Snowflake.

The double-flavoured dairy goodness is described by Tyler as a “cool peppermint on the ivory side, warm spearmint on the green side, with buttery white chocolate melted throughout, white chocolate flakes for some crunch, and a little sea salt to bring the flavour and scent forward.”

Tyler expressed that the reasoning behind the choice flavour was simply because he has a strong dislike for mint ice cream that comes with chocolate chips, rather than white chocolate chips:

“As much as I love white chocolate chip cookies, I can’t get over the universal rule that they always have to come with those useless macadamia nuts. For as long as I can remember, mint ice cream seemed to always come with every chocolate chip but white,” Tyler wrote in a statement. “I finally got the two away from their clingy friends and set up a play date for my mouth.”

The EARFQUAKE crooner doesn’t seem to be the only artists that is dipping their hand in the food game.

Last week Travis Scott announced that he was redesigning the popular American cereal Reese’s Puffs with the custom boxes being sold at US$50. We can only assume that Tyler saw this move as a bit of inspiration to infiltrate the ice cream game.

Jenni’s x GOLF le FLEUR is available online on the GOLF website and on Jeni’s website as of the 6th of July, as well as inside Tyler’s GOLF store in Los Angeles.

The best part about the online delivery is that Tyler confirmed that the ice cream will be delivered in a box of dry ice, because who wants to eat melted ice cream, right?

In more Tyler The Creator Collaboration news, very soon we could possibly be getting a GOLF Le Fleur x Lacoste collection. Check it out here.
