It’s been a pretty busy year for Adidas. Fresh from announcing their latest collaboration with Beyoncé, they’ve now announced that they’ll be linking up with Kid Cudi and designing both a sneaker and apparel line.

The collaboration was heavily teased at Rolling Loud Miami (which Cudi is headlining) with cryptic posters planted in and around the festival, depicting a feminine figure with a burning moon inside of her head on a pink backdrop. Very abstract.

This isn’t the first time Mescudi has partnered up with the 3-Stripes; Cudi’s first collaboration came in 2018 with the Adidas Asterisk Collective initiative to empower youth culture and creativity, working alongside the likes of American athletes Donovan Mitchell, Candace Parker and Patrick Mahomes, as well as musicians Ruary and H.E.R.

Speaking of collabs, LMVH just announced that Rihanna is set to drop her own luxury fashion line; and it’s a friendly reminder that Rih really is on the way to world domination.
