Tupac Shakur would be turning in his grave seeing the 2016 presidential election.

In a newly-surfaced MTV interview from 24 years ago, Tupac talked about the inextricable greed that is tied with Donald Trump and his wealthy counterparts.

‘If you want to be successful, if you want to be like trump… [You have to] Gimme, gimme, gimme, push, push, push.’

An eerily relatable statement, something that is now parallel with the world we live in today.

Tupac Shakur follows the strong statement with the topic of greed in general. How do these millionaires own private jets when there are children who don’t even have a bed to sleep on? We class these people as humanitarians, political influences… People like Trump.

‘How can these people be awarded for being humanitarians.’ Tupac states.

‘Millionaires! How can they be humanitarians, just by the fact they are millionaires? When there are so many poor people in the world— it just shows how inhumane they are’

24 years later, what Tupac feared has already begun shaped the world.
