Clipping the heels of Travis Scott‘s recent Cactus Jack Air Force 1 drop, ASTROWORLD album + full merch release and the achievement of surpassing Scorpion as Billboard‘s #1, is a festival in honour of Scott’s own other worldly vision: the Astroworld Festival.
La Flame is taking it back to his roots – before Stormi was anything more than a weather status to us – by bringing the festival to his hometown of Houston as a first stop.
“Our ultimate goal in launching this Fest is to bring some well-deserved recognition to Travis’ hometown of Houston, the place that has made him both the man and creative artist he is today,” Scott’s manager states.
Whilst we can obviously expect Scott himself to headline the festival, is it really that amiss to expect some of the album’s featured artists to join him on the lineup? Honourable mentions and fingers crossed for the likes of Drizzy, Kevin Parker, Frank Ocean and 21 Savage.
And Nav too, especially after they did him dirty with that unmastered verse.
The festival will commence on November 17, 2018 in Houston, Texas.
Although there’s no official info on when tickets will be available, they’ll be released here.
See you in Astroworld.
