The New York duo, Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, are bringing their New York underground electronic sound to two of Australia’s iconic music venues. Their unique sound that uses instrumental beats mixed in with a techno influence will be filling Oxford Art Factory in Sydney and the Howler in Melbourne.

The duo’s hit ‘Drinkee‘ can be heard on repeat at dance venues around Australia and has charted in over 20 countries, earning themselves a 2017 Grammy nomination for ‘Best Dance Recording’.

Tucker and Sophie not only have a raw take on dance music, but have been seen to add an element of surprise to their performances with their own unique instrument. Their gigs have seen hard covered books stacked up high, with each cover being fabricated to trigger sounds.

So we’ll see you there?
