NYE on the Sand — Bondi Beach Is Back!

Dec 31, 2025 | 6 PM–2 AM | Bondi Beach, Sydney

Bondi Beach is getting its New Year’s Eve back – and this time, it’s built to last.

After more than a decade off the festival map, Fuzzy (the crew behind Harbourlife, Listen Out, and Field Day) is officially bringing a full-scale 18+ music event back to the shoreline. The first edition of the Bondi NYE Festival is locked in for December 31, running from 6 PM to 2 AM with a strict capacity limit and a strong focus on the local community.

The basics:
– 18+ ticketed event
– Limited to 15,000 attendees
– Hosted directly on Bondi Beach
– Produced by Fuzzy, known for tight curation and top-tier production

While the lineup is still TBA, the intention is clear: a world-class experience with a distinctly Bondi edge. Local artists, surrounding businesses, and charitable partners will be front and centre, reinforcing the festival’s roots in the community.

Running alongside the main event, there’ll be a separate family-friendly celebration with food trucks, entertainment, and 9PM fireworks — free to attend but registration required.

Why it matters:
This is the first time since the Shore Thing era that Bondi Beach will host a proper NYE festival. That run saw names like Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Snoop Dogg, Flume, and The Presets before wrapping in 2014. Now, with council support and a reimagined approach, the stage is set for a major cultural moment — one that could reset how Sydney celebrates the new year.

The location’s iconic. The energy will be heavy. The return is real.

Expect announcements soon.
