coca-cola-plus

Coca-Cola have just revealed their new creation, a coke that is actually good for you.

Yes, it’s not just another shitty edition to the range labelled ‘no-sugar-but-a-tone-of-chemicals’  — Coke Life we’re looking at you. Coca-Cola Plus is actually supposed to boost your health, being packed with indigestible dextrin — a supplement used for those with fibre deficiencies.

When drinking in moderation, Coca-Cola Plus can help control cholesterol levels in the blood and promote mineral absorption.

I know what you’re thinking, it probably has a devastating taste similar to when you refill your cup at Subway and the syrup runs out. That’s the exact reason it has taken seven years to perfect this product, with the beverage trialled in Japan in 2009. CNN review of first trialled flavour read…

“Coca-Cola Plus Fibre is like drinking an ultra-sweet cola-flavoured jelly with a heavy dose of faux citrus and a biting carbonation … The gooiness sticks in your throat like milk.”

mhmmmmm yum. Lucky for us Coca-Cola has has seven years to perfect the taste, where it will be launched in Japan this year.
