Before Stanley Kubrick was known as the acclaimed director of cult-fucking-classics A Clockwork Orange and Dr. Strangelove, he had a series of photographs published in LOOK magazine at the age of just 16. He was most fond of street photography, and in 1946 he published a series documenting the happenings of the New York Subway.

So take a look into the NY subways life in all its vintage glory…
