KENZO, the French luxury fashion house, has always been recognized for its eccentric yet chic designs, and it has officially unveiled KENZO-DOME, the first series of sneakers designed by NIGO for the brand since his appointment as artistic director of the fashion house in September 2021. The pairs, which are set to launch this summer, take inspiration from the mid-90s skateboarding era with a name that directly references the renowned skate spot, the DÔME.

Designed with a blend of interactive technology, futuristic aesthetics, and KENZO’s distinctive sensibility, these sneakers are poised to redefine the style statement of the modern era. Uppers arrive in various colourways made up of either suede or grained leather, with fat Napa leather tongues incorporating rubber KENZO banners and “K” logos displayed on the heels. Rounding out the looks are grippy gum rubber bottoms.

Keep your eyes peeled and wallets open for this drop, Riders, KENZO-DOME to release via KENZO and select retailers on May 30.
