Like many other high high fashion brands as of late, Hermes seems to have latched onto the cultural ins associated with street culture and streetwear (check out their take on the humble bum bag here).

Now they’ve jumped on the skate hype train (board), announcing the release of a line of luxury skateboards – priced at a reasonable $3,000 each.

Designed by Françoise de La Perrière and Henri d’Origny, “Cavalcadour,” “Bouclerie Modern,” and “Sangles en zigzag” the decks will come printed in three different classic designs and are made of “light beech wood with a noble maple veneer”. Convinced to cop yet? Or are you still content with your beat up board you’ve had since you were 16?

The boards will be released on Hermes’ online stores in late September.
