At its peak, Pokemon Go garnered an average of 45 million daily players and generated 1.2 billion in sales, with experts saying a ‘Harry Potter-themed game has a potential for success’. Something Harry Potter related successful? Please! That’s just unheard of!

The game is set to have players ‘find and fight fantasy beasts in real-world neighbourhoods’, which has yet to get a release date. It’ll be called “Harry Potter: Wizards UNite” and is apparently one of the many games based on the series set for a release.

You can suss out the official announcement here that details Niantic’s partnership with Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment. We’re hoping the game provides the entire  Potter experience. Will we get sorted into houses? Will we get to buy a wand? Use an unforgivable curse? Please let us live out every childhood fantasy please, Niantic.
