Bondi’s New Year’s Eve is officially supersized. International party powerhouse elrow is bringing its XXL carnival to the sand for the very first time, locking in a wild, two-stage takeover for December 31.
The basics:
– 18+ ticketed event
– Hosted directly on Bondi Beach
– Produced by Fuzzy (Harbourlife, Listen Out, Field Day)
– Two themed stages: Rowmunda (pirate ship vs sea monster) & Pink Cathedral (inflatable rave church)
The lineup:
Confirmed so far — HoneyLuv, Kölsch, Patrick Topping, TSHA, William Kiss — with more to come. It’s a proper clash of international heavyweights and local favourites, curated to keep the energy high from sundown through sunrise.
The extras
True to elrow form, this isn’t just about the music. Expect roaming performers, giant inflatables, and a level of theatrical chaos that turns the whole beach into a stage.
For the locals, there’ll also be a free family-friendly celebration running alongside the main event, complete with food trucks, entertainment, and early fireworks at 9 PM (registration required).
Why it matters
It’s been over a decade since Bondi last hosted a proper NYE festival. The return started with the newly announced Bondi NYE Festival, and now elrow is adding its signature brand of carnival madness to the mix.
The combination of Bondi’s backdrop, Fuzzy’s production, and elrow’s chaos makes this one of the most ambitious events on the summer calendar.
