Ben & Jerry’s is putting a stop to the conservatives, figuratively and literally, banning the same scoop serving across Australian parlours.

“No, you can’t have two scoops of vanilla!”

In 2017, even a casual double scoop provokes thought. Whether its CSR or just good PR, the ice-cream chain is making good some noise for marriage equality. Who knew churned cow’s milk could be so leftist?

In a statement, B&J say they’d like their move to encourage customers to voice pro same sex marriage opinions to MP’s. Co-founder, Ben Cohen makes the case that:

“When you go to work in the morning you shouldn’t have to leave your values at the door.”
