After a two year hiatus, OVO artist PARTYNEXTDOOR is going to finally be returning with the release of a new album, rumoured to be titled “Club Atlantis”.

Back in August, Drake teased the return of his prodigy at the OVO Fest in Toronto. During his set, the rapper announced to the audience “PARTYNEXTDOOR, new PND on the way.” We haven’t heard from Party since his 2017 EP’s Seven Days and Colours 2. He also tweeted that he was “taking his time with this album”.

On Tuesday 19th, PND took to Instagram to make a post with just “Friday” as a caption, and while there aren’t any further details, there’s a chance we could be hearing new bangers this weekend. First popping up in 2013 with his self-titled album, PartyNextDoor, the R&B singer blew up following the release of his 2016 hit “Come and See Me”, featuring Drake, which earned him a Grammy nomination. PND established himself with his distinct downtempo R&B sound.

PND fans got to hear some new sound from him after he featured on Summer Walker’s “Just Might” record on her debut album “Over It” (2019), letting fans know he hasn’t completely dropped off the map. Stay tuned this week to see what the Canadian artist has in store…

While we’re waiting for the long-awaited return of Party, we’ll be listening to FKA Twigs’ newly released album “MAGDALENE”, which she wrote during a period of heartbreak. Listen here.
