Nike has officially announced the highly anticipated collaboration between Dior and Jordan Brand, called the “Air Dior”, modelled by none other than Travis Scott.

Back in December, Dior director and designer Kim Jones, announced the Air Dior sneakers – made in Italian leather, with hand-painted edges, and featuring an original Dior swoosh. In a white and light grey colourway, the kicks also featured “Air Dior” branding on the wings logo stamp, a metal hand tag, and a clear outsole.

In addition to the “Dior” Air Jordan 1 Highs and Lows, the capsule collection will include a range of sportswear. Take your pick from wool suits, blazers, bomber jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, shorts, polos, pants, leather goods, necklaces, jacquard ties and silk scarves. Whew. Inspired by Michael Jordan’s 80’s aesthetic, the collection’s colour palette will be in navy, white and grey, Dior’s signature shade.

The sneaker brand had recruited the “Highest in the Room” artist to help unveil the rest of the collection, proving that a neutral colour scheme can give you the cleanest look.

No word on an exact release date just yet, but expect the collection to drop some time in April 2020, and it’ll only be available in select Dior stores globally.

This isn’t the only collab Dior has recently worked on. Last month, the luxury brand announced a collection with Stussy.
